I want a sports car. I do not want it to be in the shop every other week, I keep my cars a long time.?
Oh yeah, a convertible would be fun.
Hoping to have room for a mid-sized dog in the back. Want to get fairly good gas milage and good safety. Try to keep it under $30 K. Any suggestions out there?

depending on how old you are i dont think a sports car is good right now if your under 25years old your insurance will be sky high had a friend male under 25 for his sports car it cost him almost a grand a month for insurance you wont find a convertable sports car that will be able to fit a midsized dog doubt you want fido to scratch your leather seats. and most sports cars are above 30k good luck though

most of the people will tell you to get a ford mustang or Chevy camaro, but they are really common, you see them every where, I’ll suggest you get a dodge stealth or a Mitsubishi 3000 gt, if they are too old for you, well then get the new dodge challenger it gives you 25 mpg and its starting at $19,591.

Real sports cars do not have a back seat. If you want a real sports car, like the old English ones but reliable, there is only one, the Mazda Miata.
I got a 2002 in 2005 for $8,000. The ones with automatics go cheap. It was totaled in 2008 when a guy ran a red light and I walked away from the accident without a scratch.
If one insists on a back seat, I would only consider a Mustang. Though a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder looks good too.
