In this 3 round No-Holds-Bar Shoot Out, the new Lexus IS-F tries to steal the title belt from the current champion Audi RS4. With both cars boasting engines with over 400 horsepower, this will be a balls-out performance slug fest!

Audi’s are pretty …
Audi’s are pretty cars. I feel the body more solid than a Lexus. You can argue the need for heavy metals. But Lexus, the Japanese luxury brand, Toyota if you want to degrade, is not a joke. Look at the hood, and the design. Japanese automakers are getting very good at making cars. This Toyota is luxurious, clean, detailed, and quick. I’ll take automatic with paddle shifts on cars I know I wont take on track. Manual is old news. It is tiring for everyday driving, especially in traffic.

well the audi is …
well the audi is awd so it would have better tracion on anything but dry pavement. the test is not garbage. its one particular comparison. some have compared the two with different results.
by the way. the rs4 is also 30,000 more then the isf. here in canada anyways.

For an everyday car …
For an everyday car, there’s no way I would pick a lexus. Try driving that lexus in the snow or super wet surface when it rains. The Audi is a better handling car overall…not to mention the comfort level. This so-called test is garbage, give me a frikkin break !!

And the only reason …
And the only reason why it was a tiny bit better through slalom test is because the suspension is rock hard and not as comfy as in Audi or BMW. Speaking of which.
If you want a really good RWD car, get BMW M3. It can on Lexus, It’s just better in everything.

Also,
Lexus IS-F is RWD and AUDI RS4 is AWD. That means Audi weighs more so that’s really why I think this is a stupid comparison.
Fun Factor?
What a dickhead. Of course any RWD vehicle will be more fun to drive that AWD system that tries to eliminate all the oversteer.
But try racing these cars on a wet track, on a snow, ice anything and the Lexus will be all over the place.

This is review is just plain stupid stupid stupid….
First of all, the ride quality in Lexus is not that good at all. Maybe it’s good for 30-minute driving but not for long journeys. Audi is, which is why there’s more body role.
The only reason why Lexus won over Audi by 0.4 or and 0.2 secs and even that’s ridiculouse because Lexus compromised too many things just to achieve this tiny victory, you’re never going to see in real life.
